Candle Home Liaison Programme
Update- March 2021
Hello from Candle Home Liaison! The Candle Home Liaison programme is for the parents and families of young people who are attending Candle Community Trust. The involvement and support of parents and the family is crucial during the young persons’ engagement with us. It is our experience that better outcomes are realised when parents and families are involved in their child’s placement.
We know that parenting can be challenging, especially at the moment. Check out our current events designed to help reduce stress and provide opportunities for you to talk to other parents.

What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is a meditative practice which trains us to be fully aware of where we are and what we are doing, so that we are not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. Observing ourselves without criticism, being compassionate with ourselves and cultivating compassion for others.
